The heat & the cold.

The balance between heat and cold within keeps us protected, connected and in harmony. And how we choose to act around those majorly out of alignment determines our ability to quite literally, survive, and be on fire about life itself. When we develop compensatory behaviours for someone or something instead of living in a way where that influence cannot enter and take us over, we downgrade ourselves to that frequency and become complicit in it. At this moment, we compartmentalise between the part of us which is warm and loving and the other which becomes firmly cut off. 

In general, the fire of us motivates us, nurtures us and opens our heart. But when we are sectioned off from ourselves, a cold infiltrates, which prevents us from being true. We calcify and deaden. We cannot feel. And people cannot feel "us" behind our words and actions. We develop a different type of highly sensitive, extra sensory existence, outside the body to compensate for our lack of inner signalling and the ability to hear it. We begin to live in the death space ... coming more under the influence of those, and what is, without a body - than the living.

And when the fire in us rises again, this cold must come out. On the one hand it is very exposing. We temporarily, directly experience the way we have closed up and shut out others; which can be very painful. We were previously living different personas and lives, in a slow motion movie, totally disconnected from life. Others see all too clearly where affection seemingly so solid and so deep, was never more than superficial, often resulting in schism and loss. On the other, deeper connections are now possible. Aloneness leaves. Fluidity in all things restores and flows much more simply and efficiently. We free up and we return to the world of the living - finding where we truly belong.
