Technology & the internet.

May 1, 2019

Put technology and devices back in the right place in your life. Switch to your own body technology and ability to communicate all of the time with all of reality. Clean up your personal field and anyone you name, particularly children, from the effects of technology. Mitigate negative health effects from long term use of screens and devices - particularly addiction to the moving image.

Technology is a wonderful thing used wisely, responsibly and healthily, though many of us have worries about how long we spend on computers; how dependent all of us are on them; and how much our young people may be being affected by screen time and persistent moving images. Much of the effect of particularly microwave-based devices is unresearched and a few scientists fear that the longer term consequences may be serious, even lethal, for both humans and the environment.

What do we do? We need to use laptops and mobile phones to book things, to earn money, keep in touch with our friends and family, and learn about what is going on in the world. An open internet is one of the most powerful ways, materially, that we can promote this.

And yet, technology only mimics the human capacity. Anything technology can do, you can do better. How do we harness our own capacities to communicate and extract information unlimitedly, while using technology safely only to enhance this? The answers are several fold and personal in each case. Every human being also has to decide exactly what is right for them from an informed position.
