The process of making meaning means uncovering deeply buried mistakes, perhaps in what you think of as 'your ancestral line', and releasing the part of you which can't see and didn't know. All wrapped up with this will inevitably be pain, frozen emotions and abuse frequencies preventing deep nourishment - at the root perhaps of very costly errors.
First to surface will inevitably be guilt and despair at the impact of your actions or lack of them on your life and others you care about. You many well rail at the dishonesty of others who also do not see and do know (or care) ... questioning: "Where is the justice"? But the justice that's needed is for you to see yourself. That is, accepting the innocence and blamelessness of the part of you which didn't or doesn't, couldn't and can't - see and know.
Guilt forbids self love and closes the heart, playing havoc with your relationships. When you cannot feel and open to love, you miss things - important things - and fall into classic abuse scenarios. Self forgiveness is therefore essential, which involves opening the heartdoor again and allowing that part of you, which you dare not feel and acknowledge, to finally go free and stop controlling you.
