Let go of the agitation and fear that may surface around making decisions. Release the aspect of you that gets in the way of working seamlessly with your body mechanics. Realise you will make a decision if you need to and that what needs to happen will happen regardless of how well you decide: what you call “you” trying to make a decision, is already subject to a greater dynamic, where all is well.
Everything has consequences and it is natural to want to choose well for the best outcome and the greatest quality of life. But often we simply can’t make a decision and don’t know what – or even how – to choose. We meditate, ask for a sign, take advice, talk to our friends … but still we don’t “know.” It is usual to presume that we need to “know” in order to make a decision. It does after all, seem to happen in that order. First we know, then we choose. And if we don’t know, we can’t decide and that becomes a very uncomfortable situation … this is how we tend to experience it, every time.
But there is another way, weaving itself through the picture which you can switch into. Your body already knows. If we follow our body, we will find that regardless of what we decide; whether in the end we decide or not; and whether that knowing comes or it doesn’t – there is a forward momentum already taking us in a certain direction, inside of which our own set of actions (or non-actions) takes place.
You are not actually the person who decides. You are that space in which the person with your name may or may not decide but still … something will happen. The best thing. This is because your body operates according to your source connection rather than your ability to make decisions; good or bad. And, because your source connection is purifying of personal issues, family patterns and blocks … that body momentum can be trusted because it is already, always, unfolding in the highest direction. You can relax into the experience, even when it’s a bit of a white knuckle ride.
