Inequality & witchcraft accusations.
Mar 11, 2020
Reinstall the light of yourself wherever you have become too fixated on what is wrong or different about others. Put down identification with any one image of a person or thing and release fixation on the thoughts and feelings that experiences generate in you – striking out hatred, judgment, exclusion and condemnation of others.
When we focus on the part rather than the whole, we lose the bigger picture – we all know this. But the more profound implications of this is not completely understood. We all dislike inequality. We rail against injustice. And we want anything but discrimination. And yet we often set up these circumstances, quite innocently, in the way we depart from the light of ourselves and identify with incomplete images of who we actually are.
What bombards our senses, both within and without is only ever partial information. A thought or an emotion never tells us the whole story. Someone’s words one day may reveal a very different individual the next. If we take any one representation too literally, we will ‘latch on’ to what’s inside or outside us, believing it is real. We then make a ‘false image’ of who we actually are.
This can lead to immense dislike of ourselves and others when the information in our senses gives us negative or physically painful messages. We will instantly reject these signals, attempting to deny or change them. To make ourselves feel better, we transfer and project these messages on to others, falsely accuse, and even ‘hunt someone down’ making them the reason why everything is “wrong.”
