The Jaguar Project & Grow Jungles.

Sep 25, 2021

Simon Macara has been helping to protect vital jaguar corridors as part of The Jaguar Project in Costa Rica for the past 16 years. By facilitating reforestation and encouraging responsible environmental stewardship he is enabling jaguars and other wildcats to migrate across the Reventazon Valley indefinitely. Recently he joined Grow Jungles which assists Costa Rican communities to create an eco-based economy, while preserving rainforests, protecting endangered wildlife and reintroducing endangered species. They are currently conducting a detailed study of jaguars in Costa Rica’s Osa Peninsula and the southwestern region of the Talamanca mountains range.
